Downtown Sacramento was looking to update the branding and promotion for their local ice rink.
Working closely with Omnibus Creative Studio, a new logo system was created that could be used across the brand from signage, to the design of the ice rink, and employee uniforms. The snowflake is constructed with overlapping circles that representing the swift arc movements of a skater and community gatherings. The typefaces chosen are fun and rhythmic. The main typeface is modular and mimics the rectangular shape of the rink and the supporting script brings back memories of the holiday season and connection.
