Design a deck of playing cards based on a theme of your choice. Create a dynamic system using typography, color and illustration.
Solution
I wanted to explore my hand drawn illustration techinques while focusing on my love for nature, so I based my playing cards on Lumberjacks and the Great Outdoors. Hand drawing each illustration was time consuming, but paid off in the end because it gave the cards the customized, hand made look I wanted.
